The Field Coordinator for Fine Arts will be
responsible for all matters concerning the implementation and support of
the Pre K-12 Fine Arts programs including, but not limited to,
curriculum development, assessment, program development,
working with community agencies to support the arts, professional
development, assist with the hiring and supervision of staff, and work
collaboratively with other District departments and divisions to achieve
District goals.
Qualifications:
New York State Certification in
Educational Administration (School District Administrator)
Certificate of Advanced Study
Art, Music, and/or other related
certification and successful teaching experience
Strong working knowledge of NYS Art and
Music Curriculum
Demonstrated ability to work successfully
with teachers, building administration and district level
administration in developing and implementing a scientifically-based
approach to school/District wide instructional reform.
Demonstrated ability to provide/organize
ongoing professional development and work successfully with teachers,
building administration and district level administration in developing
and implementing a scientifically-based approach
arts programs
Ability to use technology to collect,
analyze and communicate program data for use in program evaluation and
improvement.
Strong management, interpersonal and
communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide
range of stakeholders in a diverse community
Ability to establish priorities and
multitask
