Our organization holds a seat at the New York Council for Education Associations (NYSCEA). New York State Council of Educational Associations (NYSCEA) is the umbrella organization consisting of professional educational associations that meet to learn from the NY State Education Department about the latest Department initiatives and issues, as well as to find common ground and formulate collective positions. Core among those initiatives and issues are concerns that impact the access for the students of New York State to a world class education. We represent music education at the table with all other subject area members.
